Overview

The "Send an Email Notification on Case Picklist Value" Workflow is designed to enhance communication and responsiveness within your Salesforce environment. This automation ensures that relevant stakeholders are promptly informed whenever a Case's Picklist Field is updated to a certain Value, allowing for timely intervention and resolution of critical issues.

Variable Inputs:

  1. Select your Picklist Field and Value in which you would like to have an Email Notification to go to the Case Owner.

  2. Type, Yes or No, if you want to notify the Account Owner of the Case, if the Case is related to an Account.

  3. Lastly, copy and past your Salesforce URL so we can link out the Records in scope in the Email Body.

Note: If you are the Case owner creating or updating the Case with the specified Picklist Field and Value to the Case in scope, you will not receive a notification as you are the one taking action.


Additionally, if you opted to Notify the Account Owner, and you are the Account Owner making the update, then you will not receive a notification as you are the one taking action.
