The AI Assistant lets you share any conversation with your teammates, so they can pick up where you left off instead of asking the same question over again.
How to share a chat
Open the AI Assistant chat pop-out from the Home page.
In the chat list, find the conversation you want to share.
Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu next to that conversation.
Select Share with team from the menu.
In the Share with team window, search for a teammate by name, or check Everyone on the team to share with the whole team at once.
Click Update to send the share.
Who Can I Share Chats With?: You can share chats with any users within the organization you are in. For teams with multiple Swantide instances, you can share chats only within the current organization's team members.
How to find chats shared with you
Click the share icon in the left rail of the chat pop-out. This opens Shared with me, where you'll see every conversation a teammate has shared with you, along with who shared it. Shared chats are marked Read only, so you can view them but can't add new messages directly.
How to copy a shared chat to your own chats
If you want to build on a chat someone shared with you, you can make it your own editable copy:
In Shared with me, click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on the shared conversation.
Select Copy to my chats.
The conversation is duplicated into your own Chat history, fully editable, so you can continue asking follow-up questions without affecting the teammate's original chat.
How to view or change who a chat is shared with
You can check and manage a chat's sharing settings at any time:
Click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on the chat and select Share with team again to reopen the Share with team window. It shows everyone the chat is currently shared with.
To add someone, search for their name (or check Everyone on the team); to stop sharing with someone, remove them from the list.
Click Update to save your changes.
Removing a person takes the chat out of their Shared with me list, so they'll no longer be able to view it.
How to remove a chat shared with you
If you no longer want a chat someone shared with you cluttering your list, you can remove it yourself:
In Shared with me, click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on the shared conversation.
Select Remove from shared.
This only removes the chat from your own Shared with me list — it doesn't delete or affect the original chat, and the person who shared it can always share it with you again.
