What AI Admin does

AI Admin makes changes to your Salesforce configuration for you: you describe the change, review the technical design, and approve it before anything is deployed.

Written by Engineering Swantide

AI Admin makes changes to your Salesforce configuration for you. You describe what you want, it writes a technical design for you to review, and once you approve it, it deploys to your org.

It is the build half of Swantide. The AI Assistant answers questions about your org. AI Admin changes it.

The loop

  1. You describe the change you want.

  2. AI Admin writes a technical design covering what it will create or update, component by component.

  3. You review that design, comment on it, and regenerate anything you disagree with.

  4. You approve, and it deploys to Salesforce.

  5. You check the result in your org.

Nothing reaches Salesforce until you approve it.

What it is good at

Fields, objects, validation rules and Apex land reliably. Those are the everyday changes, and they are where AI Admin saves the most time.

Flows are the hardest thing to build, and large ones often take more than one attempt. That is worth knowing up front rather than discovering it: a big, business-critical flow with years of history in it is a harder target than a new field. It is still usually faster than building by hand, but plan for a second pass rather than expecting one and done.

Reports, list views, dashboards and Lightning Web Components are not reliable yet. If you need one of those, build it by hand.

What it will not do

AI Admin does not delete anything. Updates modify a component in place, so the previous version is recoverable, and creations add something new. Nothing is removed on your behalf.

It also cannot change components inside a managed package. If a component's API name carries a namespace prefix such as SBQQ__ or vlocity__, that belongs to the package vendor and neither you nor AI Admin can edit it from here.

Production or sandbox

Customers do both. Nothing reaches Salesforce until you approve it, so production is safe to work in. If you would rather see a change in a sandbox before it goes to production, point AI Admin at your sandbox and build there first.

Getting access

AI Admin is enabled per organisation. To open it, click Runs under Agent History in the left navigation, or the AI Admin card on the Home page. If you do not see it there, email support@swantide.com.

You also need your org documented in Swantide first. AI Admin reads your existing configuration before it changes anything, which is what stops it building something that duplicates what you already have.
