If you are interested in using the AI Admin and do not see the feature turned on in your Swantide app, please reach out to support@swantide.com.

AI Admin Overview

The AI Admin is the new member of your team from Swantide that makes updates and changes to your Salesforce metadata on your behalf. You'll see the AI Admin on the left-hand side menu bar identified with Swantide's signature AI sparkles.

When clicking into the AI Admin, you'll see all of the Tasks for the Swantide org that have been created by you and your teammates, identified in the Task Owner column.

Creating a Task

To start assigning the AI Admin tickets for it to complete, click the "Create Task" button on the upper-right hand screen when viewing the AI Admin.

Input a Name for the task to organize your tasks, then type out the Description for what you want the AI Admin to accomplish.

Once completed, click Create. After this point you'll have time to review and approve the task before any updates are made.

The AI Admin will now get to work on creating your Technical Design Document for the description given. This is the Plan stage for the AI Admin.

Plan Phase

In the planning phase, the AI Admin will create your Technical Design Document that outlines how it will accomplish the task you've created.

It will also outline the Proposed Updates and Creates that it will make to metadata components for your review. Updates outline changes that will be made to existing metadata (these can always be reverted after deploy if you'd like to rollback changes). Whereas, Creates outline the net new metadata the AI Admin will create once deployed.

If you'd like to make any feedback to the technical design doc you can do so in the comments option by outlining the updates you'd like to make and then clicking "Update technical design from comments" below.

You'll also have the opportunity to provide feedback on individual metadata components when clicking the Review button.

Once you feel your TDD and metadata components are in a good place, ensure each metadata component is approved and then click "Deploy All" to deploy all components.

Deploy Phase

Once you click deploy, the AI Admin will enter the Deploy phase where you can track each metadata components deployment progress.

Success!

Now that you've made the updates in Salesforce, you'll see the task marked as Complete. If you want to roll back any changes made to existing metadata, you can utilize the Revert feature to undo the change.

Other Resources

If you run into any issues or errors during deployment. the Swantide team will get an alert, please reach out to your slack channel or the support@swantide.com email to get help on any errors.

Thank you for reading through and Happy Building!
