What is a Swantide Organization?

As a refresher, a Swantide Organization represents a connection to a unique Salesforce Environment. If your Swantide subscription allows, you may need to connect to multiple Salesforce environments.

How does a Swantide Organization Relate to a Salesforce Environment?

For each Salesforce environment you'd like to connect, you will have one Swantide organization (1:1 relationship between a SFDC Environment and a Swantide Org).

If you'd like to request a new connection, reach out to your CSM or follow your organization's specific process to request new organizations.

Example: if you want to connect Swantide to both your prod and sandbox environments, you would have two Swantide organizations, one for your production environment and one for your sandbox environment.

What if I have multiple Swantide Organizations to Setup?

You can toggle between your Swantide organizations by navigating to your "Profile" tab and using the instructions here.

What does it mean to connect a Salesforce to Swantide?

In order to give Swantide access to your Salesforce's metadata, you have to take a few steps to setup the connection. Based on the type of connection that your organization requires, your onboarding page in Swantide will automatically include the necessary steps. The connection types include:

Connection Only:

This applies when you will not be deploying Swantide Workflows to your organization.

For example, if you are a Documentation & AI Assistant customer only. Or for our partners, these are typically source organizations that you will use to scrape down metadata but not deploy into.

Workflow Availability:

This applies to organizations where you will be deploying Workflows, or a destination org. It includes an additional package setup that includes two objects (Swantide Workflows) that serve as a connection point for Workflows.

Instructions to Connect your Swantide Org:

Important Note: If your company has connections to multiple Swantide organizations, be sure you are logged into the correct Swantide organization before taking the steps below to connect it to your environment. You can verify this by navigating to your Home Page and viewing the current Swantide org's name that you are in.

  1. Log into app.swantide.com and navigate to the onboarding tab

  2. Follow the instructions in the onboarding tab
