Professional Edition:

Great for: teams just getting started with Salesforce who are looking for minimal automations off-the-bat. We see customers achieve a lot of success using Salesforce simply using Professional edition, and realize that Enterprise isn't for everyone. Professional is typically perfect for your org (until it isn't!) and you are ready for more automations and features.

Automation Limitations: 5 Process Builders and 5 Flows (of each type: example screen flows, record triggered flows, etc)

Enterprise

Great for: teams looking to implement additional automations and Swantide Workflows. You know when you're ready for enterprise when you reach your maximum amounts of Flows and Process Builders. Additionally, if any of the below become increasingly important to your team, we recommend considering upgrading to Enterprise:

  • Tracking internal Team roles via Account and Opportunity Teams - for example, you have SDRs, AEs, and CSMs, all using Salesforce and you want to be able to track their different roles on Accounts and Opportunities

  • Renewal Opportunities are ramping up (lots of automations here)

  • You want Salesforce API access

  • 5 or more Swantide Workflows that include automation are interesting to you (app.swantide.com/workflows)

Automation Limitations: 2000 Process Builders and 2000 Flows
