Note: in order to create or update Global List Views (available to all users) this requires certain permissions - if you are not an Administrator and need these permissions, please talk to your Swantide CSM. If you do not have Global List View permissions, you can still use the article below to add your own personal List Views to use in your day-to-day

Create a New List View:

  1. Navigate to the gear icon within the object, underneath the object buttons

  2. Click New or Clone

    1. When creating a new List View we typically recommend navigating to your favorite List View and cloning it in order to keep the Fields displayed rather than creating net new

  3. Determine if the List View should be private or public by clicking which users should see the List View you are creating

  4. Adjust Filters by clicking into the same gear icon and clicking "Edit Filters"

  5. Adjust Fields Displayed by clicking into the same gear icon and choosing "Select Fields to Display"

Edit an Existing List View:

  1. Navigate to the List View that you'd like to edit and click the gear icon within the object, underneath the object buttons

  2. Click either Rename, Edit Filters, or Adjust Fields Displayed

Swantide List Views:

We have created customized List Views deployed to your environment with Swantide Workflows. These have best practice fields and filters for reps to use. Any List Views imported by Swantide will be appended with an *. If you'd like to rename these - you can do so taking the List View management steps above and outlined in the video below.

Sometimes, the Swantide List Views will also be duplicates to existing SFDC List Views, we recommend deleting the duplicate List Views without the * appended by navigating to the same gear icon described above and choosing "Delete," so as to only use the Swantide recommended List Views with best practice fields & filters.
