How to use Swantide's Upload and Update Functionality

Swantide allows you to upload and update Salesforce data directly in app on four objects: Account, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity.*

To upload or update data:

  1. Navigate to app.swantide.com/transfer (under the Data tab)

  2. Select "Upload" or "Update"

    1. Note: use "Upload" to import net new data, and "Update" to adjust existing data in Salesforce.

  3. Click "Upload Data"

  4. Choose the object you want to upload data into and click "Next"

  5. Enter data manually or upload using a file -

    1. Swantide will flag which required fields you need in this data.

  6. Confirm or correct field mappings on the next page and click "Review"

  7. Fix any errors (highlighted in red)

    1. Note that if you do not correct data highlighted in red, these rows will be left out of your upload

  8. Click Upload

  9. Navigate to the "History" tab at the top of the screen to see any errors on your upload

* Swantide will soon release functionality to manage data on all objects โ€“ for now, If you want to manage data on an object beyond these four, please reach out to your CSM or our in-app chat.
