Send an Email Notification to Account Owner of Case on Create

Overview

The "Send an Email Notification to Account Owner of Case on Create" workflow is a Record Trigger Flow designed to notify Account Owners whenever a new Case is created and linked to their Account. This ensures that Account Owners are promptly informed about cases related to their Accounts, enabling them to take timely actions.

Business Context

This flow is crucial for maintaining effective communication between the support team and Account Owners. By automatically notifying Account Owners about new Cases, it helps in improving response times and overall customer satisfaction.

How the Flow Works

1. Trigger Mechanism: The flow is triggered upon the creation of a new Case record in Salesforce.

2. Entry Criteria: Your Entry Criteria will be based on the Variable Inputs you select in the Swantide App. Note, the Variables you select here are the conditions and values you want to exclude from notifying your Account Owner when a Case is created and related to their Account.

In this Example, I am saying that I would like the notify the Account Owner of a Case as long as the Case Does Not have a Case Priority of "Low", Case Origin of "Phone" and Case Status equals "Closed". Additionally, the Account Owner will not be notified of Cases related to Accounts from the Cases they create as they will be the one creating them.

3. URL Variable: Lastly you will need to put in the URL of your Salesforce Environment so that we can link out the Account and Case record in the Email Notification that your Account Owner will receive.
