This article will walk you through how to modify and add to your Standard Price book directly in Swantide.

How they work:

Products are used to inform pricing and revenue metrics on Opportunities. It is important to have an accurate Standard Price book for your reps to easily add and edit accurate Products on their Opportunities. You can make adjustments to your standard price book by following the steps below. Navigate to the Swantide App, click on the Configuration Module, and toggle to "Products" (https://app.swantide.com/products). From there you will see any Products that are already listed in your Standard Price book. From this view you will be able to edit existing Product Information or create new Products.

When creating a new Product you will be asked for the Product Name, Unit Price, Quantity Unit, Time Unit, and Billing Cycle. It is important that you fill out this information accurately as your reps will be able to see this Product option immediately after creation.

Note: For the Quantity unit defined, reps can edit this on specific opportunities, you are simply creating a default number - we typically recommend using the value 1. Reps will also be able to adjust List Price of products when adding them to Opportunities if they deviate from the standard price.
