By default, Swantide recommends using 1 pricebook in Salesforce that includes your full product listing. However, you may want to use multiple price books in Salesforce if you have several products with different versions. An example of this would be a Silver, Gold, and Platinum version of bundles of support tickets included in an Opportunity.

If using multiple price books, you may want to define criteria that require your sales reps to use a certain pricebook. Those criteria can be based on fields in Salesforce, such as Employee Size or Annual GMV. Swantide can build rules that require reps to use a certain pricebook based on those criteria.
