As your business grows, you may begin to encounter hundreds––if not thousands––of duplicates. Recently, in addition to our foundation of Duplicate Management, Swantide launched a feature that will help manage duplicates in bulk.
For best practice use, we recommend checking on dupes on a weekly to bi-weekly basis in Swantide. However, we know how busy our customers get, and that duplicates can quickly get out of hand. As such, choosing individual master records for each duplicate grouping becomes a tedious task.
Now, with the bulk duplicate management feature, Swantide suggests a master record, allowing you to bulk merge all records where a suggested master is found (with one click)!
To use this feature, follow these steps:
Navigate to "Data" on the left-hand side of the Swantide interface.
Click on "Maintenance." This action will prompt a screen that highlights any issues that Swantide detects.
Under "Issues to review," select "Manage" on the right-hand side of the issue you would like to address.
On the top right, click on the "Merge All Possible" button. At this point, Swantide will display a message indicating the number of groups that will fall under the suggested master record.
If you wish to merge all duplicates, confirm by clicking the "Merge all" button.
Swantide Best Guess Account Logic Inputs:

The logic goes top to bottom until it can find the master
FAQ:
What will happen to all of my associated records?
All of your associated records across the duplicate group will be brought in and associated with the new master record – you won't loose any of these associations!
Can I set my own Master Logic?
Please reach out to your Swantide CSM to discuss custom logic.
Why did some records not merge?
To keep your data safe and clean, Swantide leaves duplicate groups/records not flagged with a Swantide suggested master out of bulk merging. Based on the above logic, records that do not merge indicate that there was no way to determine the best record to be the master at that time. If you're interested in determining your own logic here, please contact your CSM!
I clicked Merge All, now what?
All great things take time, including duplicate management. If you click Merge All, please leave your screen open. Feel free to click away from the page, but be sure to leave the Swantide tab open to ensure that your data merges properly. If you run into any issues, contact Swantide Support through the in-app chat!
