When this Swantide Workflow is enabled, you can streamline your sales process by ensuring that your representatives consistently utilize the "Close Opportunity" button.

Setup

Updating Your Opportunity Closing Flow:

  1. Find your Opportunity Closing Flow

    1. Setup > Flows

  2. Locate the Two Update Opportunity Actions

  3. Within each Update Action add the Field Swantide_Closed_with_Flow__c and set it to "True"

  4. Save the Flow and Activate it

Activating the Validation Rule:

  1. Now that the flow will update the Checkbox before the Opportunity Stage changes, locate the Validation Rule to enforce this rule

  2. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Opportunity > Validation Rule

  3. Locate the Validation Rule "Swantide_Close_Opportunity_Required"

  4. Click Edit

  5. Check the Active Checkbox

  6. Hit Save

And there you have it! Your Reps (Non-System Admins) will now be required to use the Close Opportunity Button each time they close out their Opportunities.
